A Practice of Mercy

Practices for aligning with your true Self

My name is Mercy, and I am very excited that you are here.  I deeply believe that each of us has the innate power to heal and live the life that we dream of living. For the past 25 years I have been on my own healing journey, and I am here to share with you some of the practices that have helped me so much and I believe can help you too.

I have spent much time contemplating what it means to awaken, in the contemplative sense.  My current understanding of awakening is awakening from delusion - to rest in loving awareness, aligning with one's true nature, welcoming and healing all parts of oneself.  This website and all that I do, is with that intention in mind.

Please explore the pages and see if any of the practices interest you.  Of course there are other practices that lead to awakening, but these happen to be the ones that I have found most beneficial to me.

And I believe in the neurodiversity movement, the idea that people interact with the world in different ways and that there is no “right” way of thinking, learning, or behaving, celebrating differences rather than pathologizing them.  I therefore frame all of this in the context of neurodiversity, and share about my own personal experience here.

May you accept yourself just as you are.

May you be loving and feel loved.

May you be free.
